The AWTA group is comprised of three operating divisions in Australia (AWTA Raw Wool, AWTA Product Testing and Agrifood Technology), its wholly owned subsidiary NZWTA and its joint venture, JinAo Testing Company. NZWTA NZWTA is the major wool testing company for the sampling, testing and certification of New Zealand apparel and interior textile wools. New Zealand's only comprehensive textile testing business is also operated within NZWTA's Napier laboratory. The textile operation provides the company with the unique ability to offer testing services covering the entire textile spectrum from raw material to finished product. AWTA Raw Wool Raw Wool is the largest division within AWTA and provides independent and objective wool certification services. AWTA Raw Wool's major services are sampling, testing and certifying the yield, fibre diameter, vegetable matter content, staple length and staple strength of greasy wool before it is sold. Agrifood Technology Since 1989, Agrifood Technology has been a provider of physical and chemical testing, servicing the Australian grain, food and feed industries. Agrifood Technology provides independent and comprehensive analytical testing services to the agricultural industry in various fields and services covering grain, fodder, fruit and vegetables, meat, soil, water, fertiliser, plant tissue, processed food, stockfeed and flour milling markets. Our major focus is the provision of a high level of customer service, using innovative techniques and stateof-the-art equipment to meet client needs and respond quickly to testing requirements. As an added insurance, our laboratory is NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited to the ISO 17025:2005 standard and our quality system is certified to the AZ/NZS ISO 9001:2008 standard. FeedTest is operated by Agrifood Technology and is a pioneer in the use of Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) for feed testing in Australia.
